Designers Janine Gahn and Kristina Simpson are the creative partners behind KAJ Clothing, which they launched in October, 2004. Since their introduction into the Edmonton fashion world, they have developed a loyal customer base and a great reputation for having high quality clothing, great prices, and a fun atmosphere. KAJ's design process combines casual sophistication with fresh, modern lines and current styling.

KAJ is a fun and exciting store, and an experience like none other. The staff is friendly, helpful and honest. Come kick back on couches or see what the latest designs are on the cutting table.

The KAJ line is produced in Edmonton, Canada. The line includes pants, coats, jackets, tops, and dresses specifically designed for women who are 5'9" and over. A majority of the KAJ clientele is over 6 feet and has inseams that range between 36 and 38 inches. Free hemming is provided for those who need it!

Janine has always called Edmonton home. She attended the University of Alberta in the Human Ecology program majoring in Textiles, Clothing, and Culture. She then completed a diploma in Fashion Design at Kwantlen University College in Richmond B.C.

Kristina is originally from Whiterock, B.C. where she lived while attending Kwantlen University College in Richmond, B.C. After finishing her practicum she packed up and moved to Edmonton with Janine.
